2009 - Concert comemorating his 40 years' career at the Auditório Ibirapuera
São Paulo. With hiw new sextet: Sidmar Vieira - trumpet, Josué dos Santos - tenor sax
Sizão Machado - bass, Alex Buck - drums and Laudir de Oliveira - percussion.
Special guests: Teco Cardoso - baritone sax, Raul de Souza - trombone, Caito
Marcondes - percussion, Marcelo Munari - guitar and Zé Luiz Maziotti - vocal.

2009 - Release concerts of the CD Mano a Mano recorded with his brother Carlinhos
Vergueiro at the Teatro SESC, Santos, Teatro Municipal, S.Bernardo do Campo, Teatro Rival,
Rio de Janeiro and Teatro SESI, S.P.

2008 - Double ticket with his brother the composer and singer Carlinhos
Vergueiro in the show "Mano a Mano" at Sala Baden Powell, with special guests
Carlos dos Santos (Carlinhos 7 strings) and percussionist
Laudir de Oliveira.

2008 - Concert in duet with the singer Thais Fraga at the Museum of Modern Art
in Rio de Janeiro within the project "Music at the Museums."

2008 - Concert in trio (Sergio Barrozo- bass and Robertinho Silva-drums
at the Cultural Center Maurice Valansi in Rio de Janeiro.

2008 - Released the CD "Parceria" (Lua Music) which consists of songs from
Guilherme Vergueiro and lyrics of Paulinho Lima, sung by special guests singers 
Alcione, Preta Gil, Luiza Possi, Leila Pinheiro, Jussara Silveira, Sunny Alves,
Jards Macalé, Miltinho, Pery Ribeiro, Sergio Santos and Luce.

2008 - Show at Sala Baden Powell (RJ) in duet with the singer Thais Fraga.

2007 - Co director, co producer and musical director of the DVD "Ginga no Asfalto"
about the legendary interpreter from São Paulo Germano Mathias sponsored by Perobras.

2007 - Pianist and musical director at the concert  of the release of the DVD 
"Ginga no Asfalto" with Germano Mathias at the FECAP theater - S.P.

2007 - Participation in the release of the CD of Mariana de Moraes
in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. (Produced by himself).

2007 - Solo Concert at Sala Baden Powell, Rio de Janeiro.

2006 - Recorded the CD "35 anos de Petros, uma retrospectiva
no ritmo da MPB.

2006 - Quartet concerts at the  Bar Café Teatro Saracura
em São Paulo.

2006 - Solo concerts in Brasilia in the project Pauta de Música
Popular Brasileira at the Funarte Theater.

2005 - Special guest for the group Meirelles e os Copa 5 in concert in
São Paulo.

2005 - Master class at the Florianópolis Music University.

2005 - Concert at Golden Room at the Copacabana Palace (Rio de Janeiro)
and at the Jockey Club with his quintet (Paulo Russo - bass, Chiquito Braga - 
guitar, Pablo Silva - drums and Laudir de Oliveira - percussion) having as 
special guest legendary Brazilian singer Elza Soares.

2005 - Special guest in S.Paulo at the night club Bourbon Street and in 
Rio de Janeiro at the night club Mistura Fina in Roy Hargrove concerts with
John Lee on bass amd  William Jones III on drums.

2004 - Solo concerts in São Paulo, Vitória, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte,
Curitiba, Londrina, Florianópolis and Rio de Janeiro.

2004 - Solo concert at São Paulo Theatro Municipal

2004 - Winner original soundtrack for the movie "Lost Zweig" by Sylvio Back
on the Movie Festival of Ceará.

2003 - Co producer e co director of the documentary "Jamelão"
about 92 years old legendary Brazilian singer.

2003 - Along with Raul de Souza, composed and played
original sound track for the movie "Lost Zweig" from
Sylvio Back, to be released internationally.

2002 - Released the CD "Tanta Luz" for Luz da Cidade with
special guests Alcione, Emilio Santiago, Leila Pinheiro,
Sergio  Santos and introducing Sanny Alves.

2002 - Solo concert at the Museu do Reinado, in Rio de Janeiro

2002 - Solo concert in Maceió, at the Teatro da Fundação

2001 - Release in London of his first LP  "Naturalmente" recorded in N.Y. and
São Paulo em 1978/80 and never released outside Brazil.

2001 - Release in Brazil his CD "Molambo", recorded in L.A. in 1998.

2001 - Solo concert Rio de Janeiro na Sala Baden Powell paying tribute
to Brazilian master guitarist  Baden Powell having as special guest Brazilian
legendary singer Elza Soares

2000 - Produce and conductor on the tribute to legendary Brazilian composer
Moacir Santos" at the Memorial da América Latina, São Paulo.

2000 -   Performance with his new group at the Afrikan Market
Festival in Los Angeles, California.

2000 -   Production of Mariana de Moraes CD. (grandoughter of
legendary Brazilian Composer Vinicius de Moraes.
To be released in the fall. For Del Soul Records.

2000 -   Appearances at West Los Angeles afro-brazilian
restaurant Itana Bahia. 
2000 -   Release of his new CD "ESPIRITU" for the English label 
NAIM AUDIO, a colaboration with Carlos dos Santos 
(7 strings acoustic guitar).

1999 -  With the Don Menza quartet on the project "The music
or Henry Mancini", at the Club Braserie, Hollywood.

1999 -  Tour in theaters of the state of S.Paulo with a 9 piece band

1998 - Performances in Rio de Janeiro at "Lugar Comum, 
Arte e Cultura" with the show "Piano dá Samba"

1998 - Trio concerts in the city of Los Angeles featuring Ricardo do 
Canto on bass, Pablo Silva e Lima on drums and special guest 
Gretchen Parlato on vocals.

in São Paulo in december. 

1996 - Duo with percussionist Junior Homrich in Jamaraquá, Pará,
the Brazilian Amazon. 

1996 - Special guest at the "Palácio da Alvorada" in Brasilia,
(The Brazilian White House) on September 7, commemorative
of the Independence Day, along with underprivileged teenagers
percussionists and vocalists from the Mangueira community. 

1995 - Leader of a international all star group that included Wayne Shorter,
Wallace Rooney, Raul de Souza, Laudir de Oliveira, Mads Vinding
and Robertinho Silva, at the Brazilian version of the
"Heineken Festival" in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

1995 - Released the CD "Love, Carnival & Dreams",
with Ron Carter (bass) and Robertinho Silva (drums) on Brazilian label      

1995 - Nominated for the Award offered by the "Herb Alpert Foundation
for the Arts" and "CAL State University", for the body of his work.

1995 - Founded in Los Angeles, the Brazil On Line Publishing,
company dedicated to reveal to international audiences via Internet,
activities related to Brazilian Culture and life. 

1995 - Founded in Los Angeles the Mangotree Music Productions,
a production company dedicated exclusively to Brazilian Culture. 

1994/1995 - Special appearances in concerts and/or recordings
with Hugh Masekela, Joyce, Leon Ware and Rafael Rabello.

1994 - Trio concerts (Ron Carter e Robertinho Silva)
at the "Mistura Fina" and at the Arpoador Beach
in Rio de Janeiro and at the "Centro Cultural São Paulo"
and at the night club "Bourbon Street" in São Paulo. 

1993 - Concerts in Brazil with his quartet at the "Teatro Crown Plaza." 

1993/1996 - Started the "Guilherme Vergueiro Brazilian Big Band"
playing on several venues in Los Angeles. 

1991/1993 - Concerts with his quartet in the cities of Los Angeles,
New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, at jazz clubs,
theaters and universities. 

1990 - Toured several North American cities as special guest
of Brazilian star João Nogueira. 

1989 - Solo tour in France, and duo tour in Italy with flautist Nicola Stillo. 

1988/1989 - Sponsored by Coca Cola, concerts at the "Teatro Ipanema",
"Parque da Catacumba" and night club "Jazzmania"
in Rio de Janeiro, leading a all star Brazilian group,
and members of the "bateria" of Mangueira Samba School. 

1987/1988 - Duo concerts with trombonist, Raul de Souza, flautist Lea Freire,
singers Rosa Maria and Miucha, tour in Spain as special guest
of singer Nana Caymmy. Guest appearances as arranger
and/or pianist in recordings and/or concerts of
Carlinhos Vergueiro, Chico Buarque, Djavan, Rafael Rabello,
Leny Andrade among others.
With his group "Guilherme Vergueiro + 5" (Cisão Machado,
(bass), Duda Neves, (drums), Claudio Guimarães (guitar),
Teco Cardoso, (reeds) and Edu Helou (keyboards), played various
concerts in S. Paulo and Rio and at the "Free Jazz Festival".

1986 - Solo concert with depoiment at the "Museu da Imagem e do Som"
in São Paulo. 

1983 -1986 - Leading his groups, participated in several events in Brazil,
like "Festival Internacional de Jazz" de São Paulo,
"Festival de Jazz de Brasilia", "Festival de Jazz do Recife",
"Festival de Campos de Jordão", among others. 

1982/1983 - Twice invited by Danish Government, to minister Master Classes
on Brazilian Music and tour in several cities.
Recorded the LP "Live in Copenhagen" at the night club Mommartre.
1982 - Released the solo LP "Só Por Amor".
Solo concerts in several Brazilian cities promoting the album. 

1981/1982 - As pianist and/or arranger, did several works
for the Eldorado Record Company in Brazil,
and for Brazilian artists such as Carlinhos Vergueiro,
Chico Buarque, Djavan, Leny Andrade, Raul de Souza,
Nico Assumpção, Claudio Gulmarães, Raul 				
Mascarenhas, among others. 

1980 - Back in Brazil, released his first LP 'Naturalmente"
touring with his group in several Brazilian cities. 

1975/1980 - In New York, where lived for 5 years, formed with bassist
Walter Booker the group "Love, Carnival and Dreams",
playing in several venues such as "The Village Gate"
and "Boomers." and at Theaters and Universities.
For 3 years, musical director of the night-club "Cachaça",
the only at that time specialized on Brazilian Entertainment. 

1973 - Musical director of the play "Labirinto, o Balanço da Vida",
with renowned Brazilian actor Walmor Chagas,
winner of the Moliere Award for best play of the year. 

1970/1972 - Worked in several night clubs in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo,
leading his own groups and singing, and also as pianist
for great names in Brazilian Popular Music,
such as Agostinho dos Santos and Lany Andrade.
Recorded with his trio a series of Radio Specials
for the Eldorado Radio Station and for the TV Educativa
de São Paulo. Worked as pianist in the quintet
of legendary drummer Edison Machado.
